Our 2 schemes comprising 14 places, are aimed at women in Leicester who may be facing homelessness, including pregnant women or mothers and babies / young children. Residents have access to their own private bedroom and shared communal living areas, all of which are maintained to a high standard.
A unique and much needed service, our aim is to offer temporary housing and an opportunity for women to rebuild their lives in order to secure and sustain more permanent accommodation going forward. An Intensive Housing Management Officer is present Monday to Friday who work with Residents to help them:
- Maintain their licence agreement
- Address financial issues, develop budgeting skills and maximise benefit entitlement
- Access other services and facilities including health/ social care services, community services, education
- Maximise employment opportunities
The length of stay for the service, which is reviewed every 3 months, depends on individual circumstances and their move on plan.
