Due to the nature of this post, it is only open to female applicants and is exempt under Schedule 9 Part 1 Equalities Act 2010.
Norton Housing and Support is a well-established Charity and social housing provider, offering high quality accommodation and support services.
We are currently seeking a Female Cleaner to work across three locations – our offices and two shared homes, including one housing vulnerable women and their children. Overall, the hours are 10.5 per week, worked across 5 days (Monday to Friday). Please note that two locations are within the Fosse Road area of Leicester, and one within the Stoneygate area – own transport would therefore be an advantage. Travel expenses are paid at 0.45p per mile between locations.
The successful candidate will directly contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment in both our office and our homes. We are looking for an efficient and self-motivated cleaner with an understanding of confidentiality / privacy and an approachable manner.
We aim to develop a workforce that reflects the community we serve. To this end we actively implement equal opportunities in employment and service delivery and seek people who share our commitment. We strongly encourage applications from all sections of the community, particularly from underrepresented groups, including members of our black and minority ethnic communities.
