Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner at one of our of supported homes, in Belgrave, Leicester.  The role involves ensuring that all communal areas are kept to the highest standards. Working hours are 1.5 per morning on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday – total of 4.5 per week. There is some flexibility on the precise working schedule and some flexibility to work other days on bank holiday weeks would be advantageous.

Duties

  • Performing cleaning tasks in designated areas including lounges, toilet, kitchen, utility and other communal spaces. Following established cleaning specifications to ensure consistency in service delivery.
  • To work, and utilise equipment and products, safely.
  • Report any maintenance issues, or safety hazards, to housing staff.
  • Interact with residents in a pleasant and respectful manner
  • Manage time effectively to complete tasks within designated time frames.
  • Complete paper-based records (timesheets and cleaning specifications)

Requirements

  • An understanding of the importance of maintaining confidentiality, and a commitment to doing so.

  • The ability to communicate clearly in English, and basic written English skills.
  • Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role is preferred but not essential.
