As part of the evolution of our mental health support service, we have a new role available- Activity Based Support Worker – working 20 hours per week across a minimum of 4 days.

We are looking for a candidate with:
- Minimum of 3 years demonstrable experience in developing and delivering workshops / skill based personal development to ages 16+ and/or a minimum of level 2 qualification in health and social care or related subject.
- Understanding of, and skill in producing, person-centred and co-produced activities to aid personal development
- Demonstrable experience in providing positive, engaging and enabling support for people with mental health needs that motivates and creates healthy challenge to inspire personal development.
- Active listening skills and ability to apply Unconditional Positive Regard
- An ability and motivation to tailor approach based on the needs, cultural background, age and ability of individual service users.

As the role involves working across our Leicester based supported housing schemes, and potentially out in the community, the successful candidate will need a reasonable independent means of transport.
