Congratulations to Inclusion Healthcare’s Assist Practice which, following a recent inspection by the CQC, has been awarded an Outstanding rating.

In the CQC’s report published 10th May 2018 inspectors found that the city centre primary health care service, which provides care for asylum seekers and refugees, was providing an innovative, compassionate and responsive service to all of its patients.

Inspectors found “A patient centered culture, where staff are motivated and inspired to offer kind and compassionate care working to overcome obstacles to achieve this. High standards are promoted and owned by all practice staff” and patients’ choices and preferences were valued and acted upon. This is Inclusion Healthcare’s second practice to be awarded “outstanding” and is one of only 4 in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

Inclusion Healthcare (formerly Homeless Healthcare) is a social enterprise, set up in 2010 to provide care to the homeless and vulnerable in Leicester. In 2017 we were delighted to welcome them to the Conduit Consortium – Together for Wellbeing and Independence, the first mental health consortium of its kind in Leicester
