The Role

Working in one of our supported housing schemes in Leicester, the successful candidate will support Service Users to manage their mental and physical health, develop daily living skills, address financial issues, build confidence and self-esteem and develop social networks. No personal care is involved.

One of our clients said “Norton Housing and Support has given me space to come to terms with having a mental illness. Before I was on my own and lonely, in and out of hospital. Now I feel supported, I am more stable, I have friends and a volunteering job”

The successful candidates will have experience of working in the health or social care sector, have a positive approach to promoting independence, be an effective team player and have excellent communication and organisational skills.

We aim to develop a workforce that reflects the community we serve. To this end we actively implement equal opportunities in employment and service delivery and seek people who share our commitment. We strongly encourage applications from all sections of the community, particularly from underrepresented groups, including members of our black and minority ethnic communities.

All jobs will require permission to work in the UK.
